WAGs (or Wags) is an acronym used particularly by the British tabloid press. It’s used to describe the ‘Wives And Girlfriends’ of high-profile footballers. In the media these women are mostly (if not only) praised for their beauty.

And beautiful they are… You have seen them in bikinis on the beach or in dazzling dresses on the red carpet of yet another football-trophee-celebration. But what do we really know about the lives, dreams, ambitions and talents of these fabulous looking women?

The world deserves to know more about the wives of football players. We want to go beyond the clichés and stereotypes of the WAGS. Therefore we’d like to set up a personal and honest forum about women who have one thing in common – the love for a football player. Because there is so much more that that…

Play.Love.Shoot. is an international TV-series with the objective to present an authentic and refreshing portrait of the wives and girlfriends of footballers. The aim of the show is to portray these strong women and their stories, careers, passions and ideas.

Every week we’ll give you a refreshing portray of a woman – with a story, a career, a view and a passion.

Next to a TV-series, this project will be developed on multiple of platforms: a website forum, a twitter news feed and editorial magazine features.
